Encourage Private Players to Reverse Migration of Students for Medical Education

With a huge number of Indian students being entangled in Ukraine’s conflict, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday tried to reverse the trend of young people seeking medical education overseas by pushing private companies to provide inexpensive education in the state. It was requested. He praised the Indian Society of Nephrology for providing a common platform for experts so that more people-centered, safe, and effective treatment could be possible. He was speaking at the Indian Society of Nephrology’s annual conference in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

“We must reverse the trend of our kids migrating to foreign nations for medical education by encouraging private actors and other stakeholders to provide inexpensive education, while state governments should serve as facilitators,” he said. Following the Russian military incursion, “Operation Ganga” was launched to remove Russian people from Ukraine, especially students.

According to Sinha, India is writing new milestones in health, science, technology, and innovation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, meeting global standards of excellence in leading sectors of healthcare. He stated that the healthcare scene in Jammu and Kashmir has transformed. He stated that currently, all of our 20 district hospitals are equipped with cutting-edge dialysis facilities to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Health reform benefits have grown more accessible and inclusive, according to Sinha. We are building rural public health infrastructure and introducing novel medical techniques, according to the Lt Governor, in order to give quality healthcare to the general populace.

He claimed that Jammu and Kashmir had risen to the top of the NITI Aayog’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) ranking, with infant mortality dropping to single digits and universal health coverage being extended across the state. We’ve not only looked at financing in the alarming fall and upgrades in health infrastructure, but we’ve also consistently raised it over time.
